Content policy
Blogger is a free service for communication, self-expression and freedom of speech. We believe bloggers will increase their ability to provide information, encourage healthy debate, and create viable new connections between people. We believe that censorship of this content is contrary to the free speech-based service.
To maintain these values, however, we need to limit the abuses that threaten our ability to provide this service and the freedom of speech that this service encourages. Therefore, there are some limitations on the type of content hosted by Blogger. The limitations we have identified are those that comply with both legal requirements and are intended to improve the service as a whole.
If you encounter a blog that you think violates our policies, Report this blog to us using the 'report abuse' link at the top of each blog in the 'other' drop-down Section. If the blog owner has hidden this link, you can still report abuse in the Blogger Help Center.
Content boundaries
Our content policies play an important role in maintaining a positive experience for you, users. Please respect these principles. Sometimes, we may change our content policy so please check back here. Also, please note that when applying the policy below, we may have exceptions based on consideration of art, education, documentation or science, or if there are other significant benefits to the public from not processing the content.
Adult content: we allow adult content on bloggers, including photos or videos containing nudity or sexual activity. If your blog contains adult content, please mark as 'adult' in your Blogger settings. We can also bookmark a blog with adult content if the owner has not yet bookmarked. Every blog marked as ' adult 'will be placed behind the interstitial warning'adult content'. If your blog has forwarding ads that alert adult content, please don't try to ignore or disable forwarding ads - forwarding ads are for protecting people.
There are some exceptions to our adult content policy:
Don't use Blogger as a tool to make money on adult content. For example, don't create a blog that contains ads or links to commercial porn sites.
We do not allow illegal pornography, including images, videos, or written content that describes or encourages rape, incest, copulation with animals, or sexual intercourse with corpses.
Do not post or distribute pornographic or nude photos or videos privately without the consent of the subject. If someone has posted your private porn or nude photos or videos, please report them to us here.
Child safety: we have a zero tolerance policy for child exploitation. Some examples of this include:
Child sexual abuse images: we will terminate the accounts of any user we find that account publishes or distributes child sexual abuse images. We will also report that user to law enforcement.
Sex with children: we do not allow content that encourages or provokes sexual attraction to children. For example, do not create a blog with an image library of children in which the collection of images or text accompanied by images is sexual and does not publish content of a sexual nature related to the subjects of adolescent participation.
Hate speech: our products are the basis for free speech, but we do not allow the use of hate speech. Hate speech is a form of content that encourages or tolerates violence or whose primary purpose is to incite hostility against individuals or groups based on race or ethnic origin, religion, disability, age, nationality, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity or any other trait associated with systematic discrimination or contempt.
Vulgar content: don't post content just for shock or graphics. For example, collections of close-up images of gunshot wounds or accident scenes without additional context or comments would violate this policy.
Violence: do not post intentionally shocking, sensational or unprovoked violent content. If posting visual content in the context of news, Documentation, Science or art, please be aware of providing enough information to help people understand what is going on. In some cases, if the content is too violent or shocking, it will not be accepted in any context on our platform. Finally, do not encourage others to commit specific acts of violence.
Terrorist content: we do not allow terrorist organizations to use bloggers for any purpose, including recruitment. Bloggers also prohibit terrorism-related content, such as content promoting terrorist acts, inciting violence, or praising terrorist attacks.
If posting terrorism-related content for educational, scientific, artistic or documentary purposes, be sure to provide enough information for viewers to understand the context. However, footage with offensive or controversial images may have to limit the viewer's age or have a warning screen.
Harassment and intimidation: do not harass or bully others. Anyone who uses Blogger for harassment or bullying may be permanently removed from the site. Online harassment is also illegal in many places and can have serious consequences in real life. Don't threaten others on your blog. For example, do not post content that is life-threatening to others or a group of people and do not post content that encourages readers to commit violence against others or a group of people.
Copyright: our policy is to respond to clear notices of copyright infringement. You can find other information about our copyright-related processes here. Also, please do not provide links to websites where readers can unauthorized download other people's content.
Personal and confidential information: personal and confidential information of others is not allowed. For example, do not post a credit card number, Social Security number, non-public phone number, and someone else's driver's license number. Also, do not post or distribute images or videos of minors without the necessary permission from their legal representatives. If someone posts a photo or video of a minor without obtaining the necessary consent, report it to us here. At the same time, please note that in most cases, information already available somewhere on the Internet or in public records is not considered confidential or personal information in accordance with our policy.
Impersonation and misrepresentation: do not use Blogger to deceive, deceive or confuse any user by impersonating any person or organization that you do not represent or conceal your primary ownership or purpose. This includes behaviour that directs political, social, or public-interest content to users in a country other than your home country, if you misrepresent or intentionally hide your country of origin or other important details about yourself. We're not saying that you can't publish derisive or satirical content or use a pseudonym or nickname - it's just that you should avoid content that might confuse readers with your true identity.
Illegal activities: do not use bloggers to engage in illegal activities or to promote dangerous and illegal activities. For example, not blogging encourages people to drink and drive. Please also do not use Blogger to sell or advertise drugs. Otherwise, we may delete your content. In addition, in severe cases such as those related to child abuse, we may report you to the authorities.
Managed goods and services: do not use Blogger to sell or facilitate the sale of managed goods and services such as alcohol, gambling, pharmaceuticals and unapproved functional foods, tobacco, fireworks, weapons or medical/health equipment.
Spam: Spam has many forms in bloggers, all of which can lead to the deletion of your account or blog. Some examples include creating blogs designed to drive traffic to your website or to rank websites in search lists, posting comments to someone else's blog just to promote your website or product, and removing existing content from other sources for the main purpose of bringing in revenue or other personal benefits.
Malware and viruses: do not create viral viral blogs, cause pop - ups, try to install the software without receiving the consent of the reader or affect the reader with malicious code. This is strictly forbidden on bloggers.
